A graduate of Shawnee State University,  I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English, with a concentration in Secondary Education and a Minor in Communications.  I currently serve as a Substitute Teacher in the South Point, Ashland, and Russell School Districts.  I am also pursuing my Master's Degree at Marshall University in Secondary Education, with a concentration is Educational Computing (technology).

On a volunteer basis, I have assisted the band in various capacities since the Fall of 2002.  For the past two years, my primary role has been coordinating communications for our program.  My current responsibilities include maintaining the band's Web site, which I have done for six years, publishing the monthly newsletter, and assisting with media relations.  I have also held offices in the Band Boosters in the past, including First Vice President for two years and Interim-President.

I have approximately nine years experience in webpage design and maintenance.  Currently, I also serve as the Website Administrator for the Ashland Girls' Basketball team, where I design and maintain the team's website.

I graduated from South Point High School in 2002 and am an alumnus of the South Point Marching Band, where I was a member from 1998-2002.
